Iceland’s natural wonders and vibrant culture can be explored year round, from summer under the midnight sun, to winter in the glow of the Aurora Borealis – the ‘Northern Lights’, best seen between October and April. Its literary legacy stretches from medieval sagas to contemporary thrillers by Nobel Prize winners, and ancient folk stories about the huldufólk (hidden people).
