Island hopping between the four main granitic islands of Mahe, Praslin, La Digue and Silhouette are the most popular, but for a very special experience you can include one of the low-lying coralline island such as Denis or Bird, where giant tortoises roam free..

Sri Lanka is distinctly Asian, offering a wonderful blend of ancient Buddhist culture, magnificent beaches, wildlife and tea plantations. There is much more to this island than its gorgeous beaches, allowing you to expand your holiday to include a private tour of the Cultural Triangle and/or a safari in Yala National Park if you wish. The romantic Maldives are significantly more expensive, offering luxury beach and over-water villas scattered throughout this stunning archipelago of low-lying atolls, reached by speedboat or sea plane. Often there is only one hotel per atoll, with snorkelling, diving and water sports being the main focus. Many resorts have luxury spas.

For the more adventurous, Madagascar is still relatively undiscovered. Famous for its lemurs and other unique wildlife found nowhere else on earth, it also offers stunning Indian Ocean beaches.
